Most recent Ultrasound Picture

Here is our 24 Week Ultrasound Picture:
Forgetful is my middle name these days, and with things getting busier & busier with everyday passing- It is a challenge to get just the basics done. So, hope you enjoy this picture even though I am more than 6 weeks behind.
We fell even more in love with our little one at this Dr's visit after seeing him in 3D.  We saw him opening & closing his eyes, putting his hands on his face & mouth, and swallowing amniotic fluid.  It is just surreal!

Slowing down....at 29 weeks.

It has hit me.  I am officially tired.  Baby Walvoord is growing fast, and taking up every bit of square footage that he is given!  We were told that he is in the 60% of growth (which is good news), and all measurements of growth are spot on.  I have gained 28 lbs. to date, and laugh at myself for trying to only gain 25 lbs..  Now is not the time to be a control freak about weight.... Although, I must say, I have been enjoying myself to the fullest!
Had the Glucose Test last week and scored 135 out of 140 which means that we are healthy. Ahh, sigh of relief.  Without knowing what to expect, this pregnancy has been relatively great!  No complaints here.

Has anyone seen my ankles?

I woke up on Friday of this past week after wearing heels the day prior to notice that my ankles were missing.  They haven't returned, nor do I expect them to in the next coming months.
I don't move as quickly as I had in past weeks, but, I have little to complain about.  I feel great energy wise, and Baby Walvoord is just growing more & more.  I feel his movements pretty constant these days. He loves it when I eat, he loves it when I wake in the morning, and he likes to play hide and go seek with his Daddy already.
The bond I have felt with Michael in the past few weeks has emotionally softened my soul.  It is amazing how the growth of a baby in me that Michael & I made is what makes nothing else matter to me. Everyday is overwhelming with things to get done to beat the clock of Baby Walvoord's arrival, but we must keep going.

Michael is working so hard.  I love him for his selfless attitude.  He is indeed a man that is providing a nest for his child.

Hopefully by next week, we will have some photos of us posted.  We have a photographer lined up to take some shots.  So, more to come soon.

Thank you to all of you that have supported us, loved on us & the baby.  And thank you to all of you that pray for the health of our child.
